Graham Arnold

Senior Church Pastor

Married to Karen with a son called Zac, Graham was raised in a non-Christian family and disliked anything Christian until he encountered God in 1982. Graham was called by God to ‘feed his sheep’ and has been endeavouring to do that ever since. Prior to leading Oaks Community Church, Graham was the Director of Aylesbury Vale Youth for Christ. Graham comes from the Old Kent Road and is a Millwall season ticket holder. Ask Graham what he wants most in life and the answer will be ‘the Fathers presence’. Working with the Leadership team Graham is employed full time by Oaks and is responsible for the overall direction and vision of the church.

Karen Arnold

Leadership Team

Karen was part of the plant team that started the church and has been involved in its leadership ever since. She has a passion for leading others into worship & heads up our worship team. She also has a heart for encouraging others in their faith, and is involved in prayer ministry, and meeting people one-to-one.

Kate Springett

Leadership Team

Kate was part of the team that planted Oaks Community Church. Part of Graham’s youth group when younger, she has a real heart for people and is involved in various aspects of church life, heading up our women's ministry, part of our children's ministry and has a pastoral heart and role within Oaks.

Jen Holcombe

Children's worker & Administrator

Jen is employed part time and heads up our team of volunteers who run our children's work, as well as being the church administrator and shop manager.

Amelia Godden

Youth worker

Amelia is employed part time and heads up our team of volunteers who run the youth work, she is also involved with Unite which is a Youth for Christ led celebration for young people, she is also involved with "pop up cafes" which provides various town wide church youth groups a place to meet.

Trustees

Trustees are responsible for overseeing the church's physical assets, as well as its reputation; ensuring that the church's activities are in line with our stated aims and are aligned biblically. Ensuring that funds are invested properly & financial accounts are maintained & are transparent to all the Trustees handle all our Charity Commission requirements.

Accounts

These three do an amazing job keeping our accounts in order and dealing with financial areas such as tax relief.

Team Leaders

Our teams are responsible for making our Sunday services happen, they do a great job ensuring the hall is ready for our church family and that the young peoples rooms are ready for them. After the service they provide refreshments and clear everything away.

Our youth band usually lead worship on the 5^th Sunday of the month and also make guest appearances in between those dates.
