‘The Shop’: Centre Manager
Oaks Community Church, Aylesbury, is a group of people who believe that God is for us not against us, and wants to be friends with us. We are people from all walks of life and of all ages who have found a common denominator in our Christian faith. We want to live out the reality of a friendship with a loving God in a natural, informal way, true to ourselves and relevant to our culture.
We need a Centre Manager to:
Provide practical support to community projects operating from ‘The Shop’;
Manage the Retail activity of ‘The Shop’;
Provide management, leadership and motivation to the team of volunteers who currently support ‘The Shop’, and look to expand that team;
Take a proactive approach to new community projects within ‘The Shop’;
Be an advocate for the ministry which takes place within ‘The Shop’ and the wider ministry of Oaks Community Church.
In return, we offer:
A varied and interesting role in a town where churches work together and see God impacting lives, working 25 hours per week, Monday to Saturday with one day off.
Remuneration of £10,400 p.a. (£15,600 p.a pro rata equivalent).
14 days annual holiday entitlement (20 days pro rata equivalent).

Ongoing prayer support and pastoral care within the Church family.
Additional information:
The role is initially for a fixed term, ending 30 June 2013;
The role is subject to a 90 day probationary period;
An enhanced CRB Disclosure will be needed for this role;
